The Grand Cherokee’s new Freedom Edition and Laredo models were introduced in 2003. They included a power eight-way driver’s seat with four-way lumbar adjustment. The Sport and Laredo trims added a luxury package with a standard 180-watt Infinity Gold premium audio system and a single-disc CD player. The Sport and Laredo trims also came with an optional six-way power driver’s seat. The Grand Cherokee’s decoration was rounded off with upscale touches, including a high-quality leather upholstery, anodized metal accents, and an integrated center console.
